From Soldier to Prayer Warrior

Soldier, you fight for rights, right to speak, right to bear arms, to praise God but when you return home -your rights are less than cheap, you’re treated like you stole something, when it’s us that owe something, at least gratitude, at least a hug if you permit, you’re the flag walking, that’s why we, though few, salute you, please accept our thanks, you’re the definition of what’s true.

Even when no one seems to care, know that the Lord holds your tears, knows your fears, and makes ways through the maze for warriors feeling beaten, you see He fights for the bruised, gives direction to those confused. He’ll never leave you, even if it means getting hit too, His love is a flood for you, stands between you and your enemy’s intention to take you out of commission. The dot was at your heart but the bullet didn’t reach its mark-destination.

You’re a soldier in a battle far greater than you were trained for, its a spiritual war that has you praising the name of the Lord, you see the darkness but His light persists and somehow insists that your stand up soldier -the world needs you now more than ever, we need your dedication to the mission since the enemy we fight is crafty and clever, guns don’t scare spirit but we notice when we worship, each line to Him of every verse of dem old Hymns be like surface to air missiles, our warship rips holes in plans to persecute more Christians under black flags while helping the blind to see and the lame to stand. Hyms to Him go up from China, Iraq and Iran. Hyms to Him go up from within the Dome in Jerusalem.

These prayers are lethal to everything God defined as evil, fully automatic so states label faith-prayer illegal, every cry for Jesus blows apart devil altars and idols, principalities and powers release captives of every race, creed and color. Since blood is thicker than water, Christ blood works to cover our heads from aerial attacks meant to leave us either seeing red or black. Forget how the odds stack, Jesus got our back.
